Join hands with Civil Defence Buner — Be alert, Be ready, and Be the difference.
In August 2025, flash floods struck District Buner, threatening lives and homes. The Director Civil Defence, along with the District Administration, including the Deputy Commissioner Buner and ADC Relief Buner, District Buner staff, and Civil Defence organization volunteers from all union councils of the district, gave prompt and coordinated responses. Volunteers from other districts — including Mardan, Nowshera, Swat, Malakand, and Dir Lower — also joined the efforts, rescuing families, securing property, recovering deceased persons, clearing roads, and removing mud from streets, shops, and important sites including Rahman Baba Mazar Sharif. Their swift action and dedication saved countless lives and restored the community, exemplifying the true spirit of service during a crisis.
